I’m excited for Green and what a return to playoffs means for them. With that said, I don’t think the above really indicates anything about HP/FC. FC >>> Green (point of reference: an 8-16 loss to a supposedly Mader-less Notre Dame?)

Fourteen or fifteen years ago there was a team from West Portsmouth that was matched up with a "Giant" in Youngstown Urseline and some of the same "talk" was going on about how the West Portsmouth Kids did not belong in that game. The Senators went on to win that night with an outstanding team effort. Just saying............

I could be wrong but I believe they lost in the state finals that yr. just saying. That’s why the game is played. Go slay goliath

Just a lil FYI for the for mentioned statement.

First Round: West beat (unbeaten) new lexington 34-6
Second Round: West beat (unbeaten) coshocton 27-21 who they lost to 34-20 in wk 10.
Round Three: West beat portsmouth (who some say was the fav to win it all) 34-18 who they lost to 27-18 in wk 3
Round Four: West beat youngstown ursuline 13-7
State Finals: west lost to kenton 45-13 who was led by one of the best qb’s in the nation in ben mauk.

So anything can happen
