You post this stuff all the time but really does it matter?? You have a new group of kids coming and going every year so the overall series record really doesn't matter, seems kind of pointless really.

This is the exact reason that nobody wants to post on this site anymore. I have seen you post negative about players more than one time on this site. I think people need to realize that voicing an opinion about someone is common practice in today's society and that doesnt mean you dont like the person you are voicing the opinion about. It seems perfectly ok for any Moderator of this site to speak their minds about anything they choose without repercussion. I truly believe this kid will struggle when he gets in the real world and people start being truthful with him about what they really see. We all need to start being tougher on our kids so they are prepared for life as it actually is. If we continue lead our youth to believe they are awesome no matter what they are doing then nothing will ever change. Lets face it, the real world is a very scary place and we need to start preparing our youth for it.
Yea okay..........
Like I said. Move on.

C'mon dude! How in the world can you even have an opinion on how he will struggle when he gets into the "real world"? I'd say he's clearly got a pretty good work ethic considering he's earned a full ride at a division 1 football program.

Post of the week, and it’s only Monday. He’s quite talented, and sure there’s kids that are more talented than him. And the reason why he has an offer that more talented life didn’t get? Because of how he presents himself in every facet in front of the OU coaching staff. They don’t just hand anybody an offer.

Ny and VC is the longest series the buckeyes have out of any school. Have played every year since 1969 (not counting the VC strike) with a total of 48 games played. This series has produced some good games the past couple of years and I don’t expect this one to be much different.

I don't really mind the posts at all, they sometimes bring back some memories, good and bad.

I have seen VC play twice and NY once. Nelsonville was pushed around pretty good by Wellston. VC I believe is better up front and more physical than Wellston. IF Vinton County can take care of the ball, they win 21-7. VC is not flashy . . . they just pound on you and wear you out. They have not done a good job taking care of the ball.

I have only seen NY once in a scrimmage , but I read these posts and I’m confused. 3-6 touches a game ? The kid is elite by southern Ohio terms anyways. 4.5 type kid , not many around have that speed. I get he may not be a between the tackles type back but why not jet sweeps , quick pitches, bubble screens , wildcat, anything to get him 20-25 touches . I watched NY play coal grove in Jackson a few years ago and was super impressed with Coach Richards plays. None of this makes sense to me.

Your answer will have to come in a private message if you want to hear the real reason.

I've heard that VC's QB is out this week. don't know how much this will effect the vikes. I'll still take VC in a close one.

I've heard that too. Luckily, they have both RBs back this week.

Nelsonville-York: Where the refs give the home team 10 yards on an 8 yard rush and the opposing team 8 yards on a 10 yard rush.

Nelsonville-21 Vinton County-14 Haltime

Vinton County gets ball to start 2nd half
