Nelsonville-York 1980's All Decade Team

Hello Everyone!

Today we are releasing the 1980's All Decade Defensive Team.

As stated before, we have a great football tradition here at NYHS and those athletes deserve recognition for what they have done for our program. Over the last few months, committees have been formed of players and coaches from different eras of Buckeye Football. These committees have gotten together and came up with NYHS Football All Decade Teams. Each decade committee consisted of players or coaches from those specific time periods. Great conversations have taken place, and we believe that the players on each team truly represent Buckeye football in that decade. The committee members will be kept private, just know the best minds of Buckeye football have been gathered to make unbiased decisions on who makes up each team.

Athletes made the team either as a 1st team, 2nd team, or Honorable mentioned selection. However, with the amount of athletes that played at each position in this 10 year gap, making the team in general is something the athletes should be proud of as the committee decided they represented NYHS Football the best in that period of time. The team consists of;
