13-12 BU leading in the 4Q but man... Caldwell is gonna win this one.

Yup.

Knew this would be a big game. Thought Berne was going to beat Caldwell by a score or so, but Caldwell was going to be bar-none the most complete and best team Berne would face in the six-week season.

Sticking my neck out: Caldwell will be in the regional title conversation these next two years, as will BU. The future is very bright for sophomore quarterbacks Braxton Dudley of Caldwell and Nate Nemeth of Berne.

This region just keeps you guessing. It’s crazy.

Frontier laid an egg losing to (0-3) Magnolia 40-8. They are fools gold.

Frontier got lucky in Caldwell last year. Would not be the same in 2020

I can see swapping Danville and BU. I put BU at 3 because they have been destroying teams. I realize their schedule has been pretty weak. I think Danville vs BU would be a dandy of a game.
Nah bro, Danville v Caldwell would be a dandy of a game

1. Newark Catholic- Because, well, they're NC.
2. East Knox- Only loss is to a 4-0 D6 team.
3. River, Hannibal- Only loss is to a 4-0 D5 team.
4. Eastern, Reedsville- Finally almost 100% and will be hitting on all cylinders by playoff time.
5. Waterford- We beat them.
6. Trimble- A dropped pass and us not being 100% got them the win. Won't happen in round 2.
7. Berne Union- 4-0
8. Frontier- 4-0
You are right on about two of these and that’s Newark catholic and east Knox. Waterford would beat eastern a second go around and Berne union and frontier are terrible

Scored in final 20 seconds to win it. But came out empty on three scoring opportunities in first half. One offenses fault, one killed by penalty that was bogus, one ran out of time before half. It could have been an ugly game. But a dub is a dub.

Read in Lancaster paper Caldwell held BU to 152 total yards (94 coming on two plays) and had 9 tackles for loss

As a fan of the Tomcats it would be nice to see the program strretch themselves a bit and schedule some better competition because the TVC is just bad outside of our rivalry with Waterford. There is no reason we shouldnt be playing better competition.
They had Lucas Fort Fry and Vinton County on the schedule this year but had to be altered because of the Covid schedule
Solid point. Dang Covid-19 hysteria is ruining everything.

FCA’s coach ranked Newark Catholic #16. Good god. Can’t think of a school so bad at boys sports yet so determined to dick people over in seedlings. Happens all the time in baseball.

Yep . Saw the vote sheet. Some coaches should be ashamed. But it was expected.

Conotton Valley #3??? I get being the coach of a football program that’s never come close to sniffing playoffs and thus unfamiliar with the landscape, but goodness gracious I can think of teams more deserving to be ranked #3 than Conotton Valley.

Saw that. Wow! I wonder if the teams that voted Trimble low and may have to play them now are regretting it since they got the top spot anyway?

look like several voted Trimble #1 with a couple voting Trimble at 3. That's pretty much how it works in bball and baseball too, certain teams voting certain ways to try and avoid certain matchups
