First playoff win in school history. They become 4th Washington school to win a playoff game.

Fort Frye, Waterford, Frontier?

Belpre does not get a win for the Newcomerstown cancellation. The OHSAA bracket reflects “No Contest,” and it won’t go in the record book as a win.

They would of won that game I’m counting it. Not Belpres fault.

You'll be hired as Belpre's new statistician before you know it.

Shadyside by a lot. Frontier's very weak schedule will get exposed when they play the Tigers.

Actually Ohio has stated if a team cannot compete it goes as a no contest also as a forfeit. This is coming from Belpre AD. Belpre record is now 4-4.

Who is “Ohio” and where did “they” state that because everything the OHSAA has put out and all other reports from around the state indicate that these COVID cancellations do NOT result in a forfeit victory, but are basically just a no contest (hence the ability to schedule a replacement game). The OHSAA uses a standard forfeit score in their documentation, which hasn’t been used this time and it appears that they specifically worded tournament results with “moves on in the bracket” as opposed to “wins via forfeit.” I don’t care what the state does with it, but they haven’t validated that publicly yet.

AD contacted OHSAA to clarify this is coming from the coach so it is what it is.

Shadyside can play their worst game and they’re still going to win by 20 plus

Shadyside is loaded but they lost to a bad Wheeling Central team.

Frontier’s junior high team would’ve beaten FCA.

Those games where longtime valley coaches face longtime valley coaches are hard to judge because all of those guys are friends and they all know their strengths and weaknesses typically it’s who gets lucky and unlucky with turnovers in those matchups. But be that as it may Shadyside is super one dimensional, they run the ball and if you can bottle them up you make games close or you beat them as they’ve been exposed this year by no development in their passing game. Even with that though Frontier has absolutely no chance of stopping that run game even when they know it’s coming. The talent gap is just too large.
