Would it be fair to say that the majority of people would like to see Burg beat Ridgewood to get the annual Burg v. Ironton game? This time with the stakes being much higher

Does burg have any real grass to practice on? If not I’d ask green high school to use the field there. It will be cold up north and that grass will also be wet and slippery.

Yes. They have one where their track is. Used to use that field for practice when they had a grass field. Burg played west this year on grass too so they will have had experience on it.

I think whoever is hungry and pins their ears back and play lights out wins this game. Ridgewood is playing good right now. Burg is starting to come together like they always do towards the end of the regular season which this would be week 10 I believe coming up. Only respect for both teams. I am a Burg fan but look at these games for what they are. It would surely be a great victory to beat Ridgewood on their own turf. The Burg will have their hands full.

I'll take Ridgewood by 2 or 3 TDs.

Burg has a way better secondary this year than they did last year. Wood found one of the Burg DB’s last year and they did what they should have done and that was throw his way. Burg’s CB’s are way better this year.

Burg has a nice mix of pass and run going on right now. Last years team could not throw the ball and Wood knew it and just loaded the box and took Matthews rIght out of the game.

Burg will show up to play and win or lose, Wood will know they have been in a game. Just hope both teams don’t beat each other so bad they can’t compete the next week.

Looks like burg will have the advantage of special teams in this game.

Fun matchup, would love to take this one in.

Assuming Ironton does win also, either one of these 2 teams would set up a tremendous Regional Championship.

I'll take Ridgewood but by less than people think. My guy woby says they're better this year and I'll take his word for it!

Wood 21
Burg 17

That’s a good prediction. I’ll go with that but as a fan of the pirates, I’ll go burg 21-17

Seen both teams, feel like Ridgewood is the better team by a few scores or more. Going to be a fun one regardless. Ridgewood 33-14

These Saturday games stink, make the week seem so long. When was the last time D5 played Friday playoff games? Feels like forever ago. Looking forward to a great night at the Wood, Saturday night.

Been a lot of talk of Wheelersburg being better this year. Couldn’t Ridgewood be better also? Isn’t their QBback from last year? What part of Ridgewoods team is weaker this season that would allow Wheelersburg to
keep this game competitive?

Wheelersburg average score 41-15. Record of opponents 38-28.

Ridgewood average score 43-7. Record of opponents 37-33.

Looking forward to a hard fought game. I believe the Pirates have what takes to come out on top. I'll be there cheering you on until the final whistle blows.
