First to 35 will win I think. Both offenses are capable but which team defense make the pivotal stop or steal a possession for their offense. Also how special teams can play a part I think Waverly has a solid unit in special teams. Looking for a tigers win 39-31

My take on how this game may go is like pretty much everyone else’s, which defense is able to get a couple of stops? This will be the best smash mouth team Waverly’s defense has seen all year and I would say this will be the best air attack team Massie has seen all year. I would say Waverly is more balanced, they have shown they can run the ball very effectively, especially in the second half of the season. This offense will be similar to what the Tigers faced when they played Oak Hill, just extremely better. The big thing that stands out to me for Massie offensively is their ability to throw the ball and get big yards. Now they only do that sparingly and it usually catches the D off guard and if the WR is open the QB can put it on the money. That’s what worries me. Waverly can’t get caught up defensively and leave a WR wide open downfield, that will deflate a defense.

I look for Waverly to try and establish the run game early. If they can do that it will be very hard to stop their offense if they have both the run and the pass to choose from. The Tigers need to try and get a touchdown or two lead going into halftime, because possessions could be limited for the Tigers with the way Massie runs the ball. Easier said than done, especially if Massie has long possessions. But if they can force Massie to play from behind, that would be huge. Maybe force them into an uncomfortable position.

Massie's run game is tough to stop it looks like.
Waverly's offense looks good too. I think the massie defense may have a better chance to get a stop although I hope Im wrong pulling for Waverly

Massie’s O line is athletic. Them big boys are moving 10-15 yards down the field and Van Hoose is shifty. Waverly’s run game is having success too. Interested to see the adjustments that are made.

Should be interesting . Waverly is having a lot of success running the ball but you can definetly tell that waverly' s pass attack is alot better then massie pass defense.

The toss sweep for massie is a killer though .

Looks like Waverly is going to have to shore up that d-line if they want a chance here. As the half went on the runs got longer for Massie. Have to defend the veer option better.

Should of kicked first time down when they got stopped was short. At end of half they were too long. Most teams don’t practice enough to get it off fast enough. Kicker is good but he has to go right at the snap and have to get ball back fast it’s tuff in hs
