A #12 seed vs #15 seed. I gotta go with the #15 seed in this crazy year. Slim Shady by 14.

NC by 14.

Shadyside is playing pretty hot, but this NC team is better than last year’s.

Shadyside is playing better, but this will be a tall task. NC playing better, but this isn’t NC from back in the day. I’ll take NC by a TD

NC would win 9 out of 10 times... hopefully this is the one time for the Tigers. Talent is there, just need each and every player bring their game!!!

IMO Shadyside is way more experienced than Trimble.

I understand and when the coaches voted, even though some voted seeds up and down in all regions for various reasons , they basically got this year correct overall. Starting next year if we get back to normal with Harbin points and 12 teams we're gonna see a lot of lower seeds winning more games than in the past, especially teams that play up and have multiple losses. It'll sorta be like back when the 9-1 and 10-0 teams didn't make the playoffs because of a bad conference and strength of schedule and have the same records today but will be seeded in the top 4 and get clocked, except now they'll get a bye before they get beat. It's gonna happen.

Weird ;) .

2000 NC 47-28
2003 NC 49-21
2005 NC 28-6
2007 NC 41-28
2019 NC 40-0
2020 ??????

Interesting assessment when comparing schedules. It definitely can't be past history. Has Shady played any D2? D4?

They're both young. NC doesn't make mistakes. I'll take NC by multiple score. Can't wait for the Tomcats and FF to finally play next year

What does shadyside do offensively? If they are a run first offense with a good line, I like their chances against NC. A young cats line that frankly struggled most of the year dominated last night as the cats had 240 yards rushing (same offense that Eastern stuffed). I like shadyside if they take care of the ball and get the run game going. If not, NC executes and makes teams pay as good as anybody. Should be a fun one!

They have a stud RB in Wyatt Rieman. Also have a good Qb in Francis and stud Wr in Mason VanNest.

After watching last nights game. I’m not really impressed with NC. Trimbles missed extra point was the difference in that game. If they don’t miss the extra point. The last 4 mins of the game would have been totally different. They could have taken their time and ran it to tie the game instead of being in desperate mode down 2 scores. That being said Shadyside 21 NC 14

Agreed. Hearing shadyside has a stud runner, if they have an average line then they should be able to control the clock and have successful long drives. I’ll take shadyside 21-14, but NC is great at blowing games open when given the opportunity!
