I know who was on their roster last year and who’s on their roster this year.

Ok. Not saying you don’t.
Just looking at their pics in their other uniforms from MaxPreps.
Could be from frosh/soph years.

Love this intensity of competition this early in playoffs (game 2)!.
Great for both squads...
BUT IT IS
U-G-L-Y!

Ironton intercepts almost runs to house.
Steps out at HP 45.

NINTH TOTAL TURNOVER in game!

HP IS NASTY, FAST, & BIG!

Best team IHS has seen since last years final.

Carter running strong.
Carrico showing leadership and not always needed for every production.

2/1 @ 5 yard line.

Ihs about to score, but gonna take knee...
.45 seconds left.

This is what great playoff teams need. Trust me this game will help you out going forward assuming you hold on

Good win Ironton. Trust me you needed this kind of game. Your players confidence will boost tenfold vs playing a game and winning 42-0. They will get to this point again then say “hey we been here before and we won, we can do it again”

More ugly unsportsmanlike flags against HP.

Those are piling up.

Great game except for how ugly it has been.

IHS takes a knee & moves on.

Great practice at a higher level early on.

Reminds me of the championship runs we had every other season when I was still in the area!!!

I said it before the game, they needed this type of game. It does wonders for your confidence versus blowing teams out. When you get in that situation and find a way to win it does something to you

I learned thst in the late 70’s when SEO FB started its rise to the finals often.
Perhaps not to K-Land’s consecutive success of recent, but 40-years later, WE ARE BACK & doing ok.

We’ve been gone & patiently watching & waiting to rise..

In the future...
