I watched the wellston game I guess I just don’t remember who scored particularly. But when you spread the ball to 4 RBs/FBs QB doesn’t have to run much

Norwayne squib kicked EVERY kickoff 10-25 yards last week and Springfield started every possession between their own 42 and 48 yd. line except one and it was from the 35. That is a death knell against any good team giving them a short field every possession. I've never seen a team do that for a whole game @ any level. The Coach must have 0 confidence in his special teams ability to kick it deep and make a play.

Wow that was dumb. No wonder Springfield got back into the game when Norwayne was dominating the Springfield defense

I guess they've done it all year according to the announcers but why you give a short field every time to a QB like Brungard is beyond me. Total Insanity !!!!!

YUP.
I imagine FF will do the same. Should be a good game but I'm guessing Fort will have a good chance to control the clock, and if they capitalize on those long possessions they should set themselves up with a great chance to win.

Just stats from last years Trimble vs Springfield game. Trimble dominated the game 24 1st downs to 6. Over 300 rushing in the game.

I have no attachment to either team & honestly until last year & becoming more active on here as my alma mater made the finals, I had no idea who/where Trimble or Fort Frye was/is/at.

I left the Tri-State In the mid 80’s & I just didn’t keep up.
NO DISRESPECT MEANT.

Now, that I know more and understand both school’s successes, I’d love to see Fort Frye win this and bring home a state championship to a well deserving team & community!

Tough TOUGH division.
IVE WATCHED them in a game -vs- Wellston & they looked good.
Before playoffs, all their wins were against teams with winning records which really impressed me. They play as a cohesive unit & GET R DONE.
