Tough loss for the warriors and some very questionable play calling. Throwing the ball way to much for a running team.

Terrible, terrible loss. We were the more physical team, but we turned it over at horrible points in time. They didn’t outplay us I don’t think, we handed them the game back when they tried to give it to us. I don’t like to say this often, the better overall team didn’t win. But, they were better once and that’s what matters.

Warren could have won this game without some timely mistakes. I think they need to get back to running the ball a lot more or short passes. They were forcing the ball a little too much in the passing game. Was Jason Williams just cramping at the end? I remember in last years game at Morgan he sat out a lot bc he started cramping in the 2nd quarter.

Morgan was physical and had some big boys. They look much improved from a few years ago. Very few mistakes also.

I will say, their DBs were not good in any way, shape, or form. Tanner Pepper is a freshman and had his way with them most of the night. He has a sky high ceiling as a receiver.

Pepper will be good for sure. He looks real good for being a freshman. Had a couple of nice grabs.

New play caller this year (the head coach), same complaints. Interesting…

Is he calling the plays or the OC?

Was told the new HC is calling the offense.

Two evenly matched teams. Two different offensive styles. Morgan, slower more methodical pound it at you and Warren's big play. That is what we saw last night and would see if they played six more times this year. Morgan kept the big play offense on the sideline in the second half and when Warren did have possession the turn overs hurt them. These teams would split those six games if everyone stayed healthy. It was as good a game to watch as any high school game.

Good Luck to both teams.

I saw fight in a young Warren team that I haven’t seen in a few years. With some adjustments on D for 3rd and longs, a healthy Williams and some unforced errors, Warren will be just fine. Their OL/DL played well overall, which is a good sign knowing they don’t start any seniors.

Was hoping to get some secondary points from Warren.
