Where is the guy that said Fort Frye plays nobody? They have the 4th best schedule in the state.

I think Williamstown is better than they were the past few years, and are playing well. The problem is that Fort Frye has played 5-6 teams better than the best team Williamstown has played. They are battle tested. FF will be the best team Williamstown plays this year by a mile, and the Cadets would win the Single A state championship in WV every single year. There is just a huge difference between the overall level of competition in Ohio vs WV.

Wheeling Central struggled vs Bellaire they are ranked 1 in A. Fort Frye was up 40-8 on them and scored 62 and almost ran for 500.

That's interesting feature EDSpy. 4th best. Hard to argue. Simply can't see Williamstown winning, but good test for them if Yellow Jackets making it as far as the Single-A finals. Wonder who'll be the 16th seed that faces FF in the first round? Wheeling Central isn't all that IMO.

This guy uses a formula and it’s updated weekly. Pastuer already factored in Coldwater into his.

The teams that are going to beat Fort Frye are few and far between, and most of the closest ones don't see the point of dropping down 2-4 divisions to do so. Williamstown has the confidence that comes with being 7-0, and they aren't going to be a doormat. Even if they get down, they're going to play for 4 quarters. So, I think we expect an action-packed football game with some back and forth. Fort Frye is favored, but only if they play well. Williamstown is not a pushover that The Cadets can sleepwalk over.

If Martins Ferry upsets Bellaire it could be them.

What's wrong with that newspaper? How can you NOT have a writeup? Even a few paragraphs. Another reason I stopped buying it.

That's good to know. I'll pick one up at ParMar. Those players from both schools deserve some ink.

This might be a stupid question, but I was looking at the Joe Eitel site and Williamstown is listed as D4. That has to be a mistake, right? Williamstown is class A in WV. I always thought they would be around D6 in Ohio.
