Varsity 4 possessions. Moved the ball inside the 20 on 3 straight possessions primarily running and gaining 4/5 yards a pop. We also had our QB in a black jersey not being touched. GA had a fumble and interception in the redzone. The fumble was a scoop and score. Very easily should have been 28-21 but it wasn’t. BC players played sound football, flying to the tackle and held their blocks nicely.

Gallia Academy has 14 seniors. QB is a senior, RB is a senior entire OL are seniors except 1. Likewise on defense. We will be fine 10-0 is the expectation for this class. 6-4 is a catastrophic failure for this season. No way in hell that happens.

Who's taking most of the snaps? Yeah I don't see more than 1 or 2 losses realistically for this team.

Seems like Gallia will likely win 8+ again this year. Death, taxes, and finishing second to Ironton every year.

The senior QB started last year on both sides of the ball. But not at the QB spot. Actually has started since his freshman yr. 3 losses is possible but would feel like a let down. 14 seniors says a lot. Especially only a cpl years after playing with as few as 17 healthy players and starting the season with less than 30 on the team JV/varsity combined. Few years back I questioned 305 when he posted that a freshman was gonna start at MLB and lead the team in tackles. He was 100% correct. That MLB has led the team the last 3 seasons, and he is a senior this year. Made a believer outta me and I can be bull headed sometimes. Lol

I’d be shocked if they lost to Portsmouth, especially being at home.

Hunter Shamblin is taking the majority of the snaps. He went out in the first half of the 2nd game with a season ending knee injury.

Athens had some speed on the jv team last year and most of their team was underclassmen. Mostly fresh I believe. They will be better this year. Portsmouth ALWAYS plays us close for sure!! Pt will prob dress 70 kids and will be better than expected I think. Fairland will be ready for a dogfight with us. SP is a wildcard to me. 16 seniors and they will have some athletes for sure. CG will show up, but Hall was a beast and won’t be replaced easily. Ironton is loaded with talent but they nearly overlooked us last year so who knows. If the blue are focused on winning every snap 10-0 is possible. But if the players go thru the motions we could open the door for an underdog opponent, again.

Point Will come to play after last year, SP has a freshman wide out is special, Don't like how Ironton gets there players 10-0 it would have to be a special group 🤞 Good luck 😎

Gotcha. Glad he is back and I think this is a good move as Hudson really earned the tailback spot when Hunter went down. Best of both worlds.

Whoever wins this game should cancel the contract and play Eastern next year

I don’t know what the record of this team will be. Too early to tell. I know nothing about point but it might not be the worst thing if that game was a tough w or a loss. Fairland will be a huge test. But think Gallia is physical and wins. This team reminds me of 2012 playoff team and I think 2017 or 2018 team that beat ironton at ironton.

It has took them a while to get there and they have matured a lot. When I see these kids now. They like being around each other and in some younger years it seemed that this team had a lot of kids that were all about “me”. Not a knock on any kid it is this generation what little time I have been around these kids this year I don’t hear any of them talking about what they as an individual wants to do. They just want to win. To be honest with you I think half of the skill players or more would go play line if it would Jean they would beat ironton and the league.

It takes a while to build but they have the attitude to be special… will they way to early to know, but if they are 7-1 or 8-0 late in year I would give them a chance in week9
