I don’t see any reason why they wouldn’t be playing this game.

Oak Hill is 3-1 all time vs South Gallia. For further history:

Oak Hill was 0-3 all time vs Centerville (Thurman);
Oak Hill was 7-0 all time vs Hannan Trace;
Oak Hill was 1-0 all time vs Mercerville;
Oak Hill was 6-6 all time vs Southwestern;

A total, including schools prior to consolidation is 17-12 all time vs the southern Gallia County schools.

I'm guessing since no one has said it's canceled and I would've hoped they gave SG plenty of notice that this game is being played?

Unpopular opinion I’m sure, but this is a joke to me. Cry wolf one week, play the next…. I hope burg puts 100 on them. If they play, which wouldn’t surprise anyone if they didn’t.

I don't think it's an unpopular opinion, we'll see what they do next week, my prediction was they'd play this week. After what they were trying this summer, should they cancel another game at any point this season then it should be closed up. They've got SG this week which is a tough one and then Waverly and Burg at home.

Yeah I’m rooting for the oaks to get things on track, but I just don’t have a whole lot of respect if you can’t play Minford, and but can turn around one week later and play SG. I admit-tingly don’t know the whole situation, but I really hope they aren’t playing the system. Rooting and going with an SOC II team on this one.

I'm with you that's why I'm waiting to see what happens when they hit league play again.

I’m assuming by rooting for an SOC team you mean the SOC II and not the SOC I….lol
I just hope both teams come out healthy. Then the questions would be answered if they are playing the system or not.

I wasn’t a fan of it before either but was recently told that injuries had the team below 20 kids and then Covid took out multiple others.

Yes SOC 2. Still don’t register that Sg is in the soc now. I’ll have to edit that

Yea it doesn't with me either. I have to get use to the new teams we will be playing as well. I just hope that you guys don't have anything significant scheduled for the Oak Hill game.

Oak Hill is 0-3 on the season and their opponents are currently 7-5. Oak Hill is averaging 7.33 points per game while giving up an average of 31 points per game.

South Gallia is 3-1 and their opponents are currently 5-11. 4 of those wins are Eastern Meigs. South Gallia is averaging 28.25 points per game while giving up an average of 20.25 points per game. South Gallia had 4 wins last year. They’ve had notes improvement so far. I think this one will be a good one. South Gallia always plays Oak Hill hard no matter the sport.

Unless Oak Hill can beat Valley or Northwest, there’s not too many chances at getting a Win this season as they still have the 3 W’s (Burg, West, Waverly) left on their schedule and they all look like they’re going to make a playoff run.
