10 things had to happen for Fort to lose that game and they all did. Credit to Point they played tough. 3 way tie for league is looking likely. With Marietta missing the Qb.

I guess you can look at it that way. I feel when a team is bigger, stronger and has better athletes you tend to lose to them. The muffed punt was a killer, but we ran completely out of gas midway through the 3rd. 14 for pp was by far the best athlete on the field.

Fort was up 13 getting ready to get the ball back. They controlled the first 3 QTs. 2 turnovers so many penalties they shot themselves in the foot. Almost every drive they would get it deep in Point territory and get a penalty. Fort isn’t a behind the sticks kind of team. Games like this will make you better in the long run.

No shame in losing to Linsly. They are in a close one with Steubenville. They were just the better team.

That’s a really big “if”…. If Fort Frye loses to Point at home, they should cancel the rest of their season.
…..Soooooooooooo???

Worst loss by Fort Frye is 25 years. Point won’t even make the playoffs in WV and that’s pretty sad when they only have 38 teams in their division and take 16.

You obviously don’t remember where Fort Frye football was 15 plus years ago lol

Fort made too many mistakes last night, and then points size wore them down in the end. Fort has to clean up the penalties the keep killing their drives. They moved the ball all night but then stalled out deep in point’s territory after penalties put them behind the chains.

Ok 15 years. Most programs don’t go 15+ years with the success Fort Frye has had. They should not lose to teams like Point Pleasant if they don’t want to return to the days of 15 years ago.

sounds like it’s a good thing Ohio takes 16 to the playoffs or they wouldn’t have a spot for ff lol

At the end of the day Fort , Warren , Marietta and Point are perfect for each other. They are all pretty even teams.

Didn’t say that last year. Just saying it now because Fort Frye is average this year snd reality is setting in. Fort destroyed Warren and Point last year.

This year for sure. Recent past no. Future? Ff has good Jr high team and hopefully Snodgrass comes back full go to give us a legitimate game breaker. Will see how things play out next year but we will definitely be better

Most people don't realize or want to admit how down ff is this year. We lost alot of players last year, eventually you're going to have an off year at a school that has 40 players max a year. In theory, Bellaire could/should have beat us along with the team from Canada.

You don’t pay attention I predicted all of this. I said Fort was going 8-2 or 7-3.

Exactly, noone from ff was predicting an undefeated or 1 loss season
