Chesapeake has 3 players in the top 25 in rushing yards (McComas 499, Fletcher 448, and Scott 408). Their offense is electric, they have put up AT LEAST 40 points in every game they have played this year. They average 46.6 points per game. The Peake's defense has given up a maximum of 28 points and averages 12.8 points allowed per game. Ironton has only broken double digits in scoring in the 2 games where they played 0-5 opponents (Fairland and South Point). Ironton's offense averages 17.4 points per game and their defense allows 17.8 points per game. That defensive stat is aided by the two goose egg games put up by the struggling offenses of Fairland and South Point. Against Wheelersburg's electric offense, the Tigers gave up 49 points and only scored 6 against the Pirates' tough defense. As we have seen this year, the Chesapeake offense can score AT WILL and it is up to play calling to put the Panthers in position to score. On defense, Chesapeake is smaller than Ironton's front 5, however, the Peake faced a similar problem last week against the large Coal Grove Hornets' offensive and defensive lines. Last week, the Panthers proved that size doesn't matter when you're playing the Peake and that they can play much bigger than they are. I expect a similar performance tonight and the Chesapeake Panthers will roll the Ironton Tigers tonight, continuing their undefeated streak on their quest for the OVC crown and another playoff birth.

ironton remains the only team not to lose an ovc game after the dust settles.or rubble pellets anyway.

For whatever it may be worth, Pasteur's site predicts this as a one point win for 'Peake at 50% confidence. So basically, a toss-up. Least mistakes wins.

If Ironton loses tonight, how many of the Tiger faithful will make the trip out 93 next week? Not very many I predict...

7-0 end first. Tigers doing a good job wasting clock and keeping the ball from chesapeake's offense

Ironton had a big run to Chesapeaks 25, RB jumped up in the air with his arm up going back to the huddle, (no Panther close) unsportsmanlike called, Coach Vass argued and got another 15 yard penalty. The next play the Ironton RB got what appeared to be horse collard and Ironton got another 10 yard penalty for some reason.

Anyhow, the Panthers had one big play, a QB scramble after a bad snap for a TD, other than that not much, I'm sure they'll make some halftime adjustments.

The Panthers had no answers to the Fighting Tigers running game in the first half. Ironton gets the ball to start the 2nd half.

I think the 10 yard penalty on the non horse collar was a hold
