Might want to put a HUGE question mark behind that first game.

And you might want to go ahead and put an "L" beside Minfords 7th game of the season.

You have to play the game first Burg Grad 1776. By the way, nice to see you back on here. Haven't seen you in awhile.

Isn't that one of the things on every teams list going into the season?

If it isn't then maybe that is why certain teams lose alot. If you don't set a goal like that, then why set one.

Every team goes into the season looking to finish playing in Canton or Massillon(sp) and looking to bring home the hardware.

Here tobias, I'll repeat it for you. Burg will go 15-0 and State champions.

Something they have already done once. :-D :-D :122249

This is the second or third time I have heard the "cincy guy" rumor/theory what have you. Who, what, and where is he from? Time is ticking pretty quickly boys. They'll be kicking that pigskin off on top of the hill before we know it!

What day exactly the 1st game is on?
I know generally it is the week before or the day before OSU's opener.

I think Wheelersburg has a great chance to have an excellent season. The Pirates always have a great team and all of their programs are top notch. Actually just to clarify, the Pirates were 14-0 in 1989, not 15-0. That team was awesome to watch.

I don't know if Coach Claxon would move up even if asked to. Plus from what I know he was done coaching this year so he could watch his son who will be in jr. high next play.

luckily the burg got a better schedule this year. Last year was a rediculous schedule.. The kids from burg have a chance to go 8-2 through 10-0 depending on a lot of things. I think the biggest thing will be leadership, and who can step up and control this team. Will Coach Woodward keep a firm hand on this particular team? some teams dont need one, but some teams do. And will seniors or some juniors step up and lead during games, and more importantly during practice. That will be the difference between 8-2 and 10-0. Remember where you're playing fellas, and who played there before you.

I think the Pirates have a great chance of going 10-0 if they play pirate football and take it one game at a time. Alot of question marks coming into this season will be exciting to see how everything turns out.

What does Burg have returning from last year? How many starters and/or kids that saw substantial playing time?

Is there any chance with East hiring Larry Hall that they get a player or two from Burg?

I dont think any of the top athletes would leave burg to go play at east but there could be some talented kids that dont get the opportunity to play at the burg go to east and give it a shot. I dont think that it the best idea for the burg to play east because they would be in a no win situation because if they win then there expected to win and if they were to get beat then it be bad for the burg. I wish the best two both teams and their new coaches coach Hall and Coach Woodward

East would have to start winning 7-8 game on a regular bases before the burg could schedule them. No computer points beating a d6 school with only 2-3 wins.
