Before you all go tiger crazy, what was the Burg/ironton Jv score last year? About the same. What was the varsity score this year? Burg is 90% sophs and Juniors at varsity level this year. White, J Shankwieler and Roberson (OT) are the only seniors starting this year that I can think of. Good luck to those Pirates that braved this onslaught! It will make you stronger!!

Aaron Hopper is also a starter on varsity (both ways). And Adam Hacker was a starter on the O-line. Not to mention that there are two Whites (Aaron and Bryan)--both first string in their positions-granted that one is a kicker.

I don't remember how much time Bentley got on varsity but he is the only other senior. After all, there is only seven total. The afore mentioned five plus Jordan Schankweiler and Dustin Robertson are the sum total.

Boys basketball is another sport where we are going to see a talented but young squad of Sophomores and Juniors. There was only one Junior on the squad last year.

And last year the score was 41-14.

There were several different backs running the ball and all did very well but the one who really stood out and ran over and around everyone was Courtney Lewis. He was all over the field,but that was part of it he had some pretty good blocking too.
