2018 River Valley Raider Football Outlook

2-8. It's going to be tough sledding for RV this year. They will most likely start out 0-6. The front of the schedule is tough. Facing CG and GA in back to back weeks to only get a typically athletic Portsmouth team followed by N-Y is ridiculous.

4 weeks from tonight we get it started with Week 1 against Coal Grove.

I am excited for this season for the Raiders, and excited to see what Coach Peck does with this still fairly young Raiders team.

I am most excited to see this huge 15 member (I believe) Junior class, that has gotten plenty of experience as Freshman and definitely as Sophomores last year. Burns, Peck, Young, etc. Also excited for the small yet talented Senior class with VanSickle, Lemley, Fitch, etc.

This is a very tough schedule for the Raiders. Maybe one of the toughest schedules they have had in a long time.
However, this group of kids are working hard and Coach Peck will have this team ready to go!
