Wheelersburg will win this game by as many points as they want! The Burg was up on Oak Hill 44-0 and the Oaks beat Minford. This game will get ugly quick. After what I witnessed in last Friday night's loss to Logan, my Falcons won't win another game this year. It is very discouraging as a fan to watch the coaches and players celebrate after personal foul and unsportsmanlike penalties against their own players. There is no discipline or respect on the sidelines this year and it shows in monumental meltdowns like Friday.

I have a feeling that this game is over by halftime, running clock and JV/Freshman players play 2nd half. This game will be much like the Ironton, Heath, and Oak Hill games for Burg. Prediction Burg wins 48-6.

Burg breaks 80 with a lot of young kids getting playing time.

Although they probably could, they would never try to humiliate anybody.

Look for us to take care of business, work on a few things in the first half and maybe first series of second half and then turn it over to some of the younger players. We will keep it respectable, Falcons are a fellow SOC league team and our staff does well at not embarrassing teams when we have things going our way, which has been a lot here lately.

Not saying they will do it trying to humiliate them, just think minford is not as strong and a lot of younger non starters for Burg who could start at other schools will be to much for minford.

Very good question? I'm thinking the injury bug has them a lil off balance for right now and I bet in 2 years, Minford will be very competitive! As of for now Burg just clean up those penalties 😕

Too many to count BG6. Minford has been hit by the bug especially on the line. Minford doesn't have the Jim and joes to compete and that happens in small school football. I'll be rooting for you guys in the playoffs and hopefully get an all SOC regional final

Cal Preps:

Wheelersburg 55
Minford 3
Pretty close to right.

Middle of the 3rd or so.

Congrats to Burg. Tremendous passing game and the only slight weakness might be the running game. Not sure what team can cover Holden and Co in space and the QB throws a great ball.

Best of luck. Should be an easy win out in the SOC II.

Burg had quite a few subs in late in the 2nd quarter but the 1st string did run the first series of the second half.

Passing game was right on target again. The radio had Salyers at 11/14 for 260 yards. The running game was without Reyes tonight and it may have hurt them a little, but according to the radio stats the Burg had 190 yards on 23 carries if I heard him correctly.
