Not meaning to pick on you in particular, but . . .

Are there really still people who wonder how good Fort Frye is?

If this game was a little closer I would make the drive from western Ross county, I have never seen a MAC team play in person and I do believe FF is legit. Applaud St. Hank for making this very long road trip, probably going to be low scoring. tossup in my opinion, 8 pt.or less margin.

They return most of their O-Line from last year. They also return their big back Owen Lefeld and QB Bryce Brookhart. How much Brookhart improved and O/D line play will be key in this one.

My early guess:

Fort Frye 35
St Henry 31

I don’t see this being in the 30s I have it like 20-14 coin flip. Fort is very good on the offensive line and defensive front 8.

After watching them St Henry is going to struggle to run the ball. They could have some success with short passing but Qb is small don’t see him throwing bombs.

I talked trash about Fort Frye and then they became the best team in SEO.

I had to watch them play and was impressed by their depth and speed

In recent big games, Fort Frye's place kicking has been an Achilles heel. How were the PAT's in week 1?

They running clock Logan later in the year snd very possible that they not only put a Regional Championship trophy but a State Championship trophy in their case by Xmas……I’ve enjoyed following the program last 2/3/4yrs…….Washington County has a chance to put out like scioto county does

St Henry really don't have that much and they have been at the bottom of the MAC for a while. I don't see FF having any trouble with them and I am a MAC fan. I go to a lot of their games. I don't think Minster will be much this year either as they just lost big this week. But you never know in the MAC what team is going to show up and kick ass. Last year it was New Bremen.

St Henry down? They went 1-9 in 2019 but:

2018: 9-3
2017: 6-4
2016: 8-4
2015: 6-4
2014: 6-4
2013: 4-6
2012: 9-4 (Regional Runner Up)
2011: 1-9
2010: 3-7

Excluding 4 seasons out of the last 12, they’ve had winning seasons in the toughest small conference for football in the nation. That’s not even open for debate. I had the luxury of watching Marion Local/Coldwater at Maria Stein in 2019. This conference year in and year old, is amazing from top to bottom. Fort Frye should be commended for even having the stones to schedule this game. Fort Frye will have their hands full but this is a game that builds your program up, especially if you win the game.

This one should draw the biggest crowd in history at FFHS. Who wouldn't want to see a MAC school travel this far to take on a program that has risen by leaps and bounds the past several years? St. Henry games usually sell out so if there's a way to see this one by all means do it.

I'd think Gridiron Glory would feature this one. Luckily it's on a Saturday.

I think FF wins this one if they can get past the MAC mystic. Maybe in a year or two they will take a few more steps up and put Kirtland on the schedule.
