Oak Hill coach elected to go for a field goal on the 3 yard line at the begining of the game, and it blocked. The coach dont have enough faith in his team to make 3 yards. That is the one play in this game that is going to come back to haunt them.

I liked the call, it took pressure off pickle and let him kick- where is is comfortable.
If made it, it would have been a good boost for the whole offense.

This will be the first regular season loss for Oak Hill in football, boys basketball and girls basketball since I believe Jan. 17, 2009. Something like 74 regular season games in a row in those sports.

You are wasting your time? More coaches in the stands than on the field. If they would have tried to score some would have been yelling to kick. You can never win. You should know that by now.

Yes, good game, very fairly officiated game despite some thoughts.. Looks like Minford just came out more prepared, anticipated the Oaks plays, and just executed slightly better than the Oaks.. Just an good old fashioned high school game..

Congrats to Minford. Oaks fought valiantly... need to get healthy. Playoffs and league still out there to grab. Hopefully both of these teams get in the playoffs.

I thought that the Oaks came out and played hard tonight but it's very difficult to replace a Joey Maynard(went down on Oaks first offensive possession) let alone a Jesse Slone. Both are four year starters and make up 2 of our top 3 skill players. Hopefully both Joey and Jesse can get healthy and we can get a crack at Minford again in the playoffs.

eeek... Looking at the remainder of the schedule for the oaks, they cannot afford a loss. If so, week eleven may come and go without them present. Minford was enough to handle them without a significant player and a few other banged up guys.. Great teams are able to overcome this and march on. so, It goes alot to show that minford just flexed their playoff experience in this one. Oak hills schedule is suspect. WAY too many division 6 schools on it. Oak hill cannot afford a loss. Almost every team they have beaten must continue to win, and the same for the ones they have yet to play, or i thinnk they will not qualify for post season. Just a week schedule in terms of 4 division 6 schools left with .500 schedules or less. They will get a game from symmes valley, and that is the oaks must have win game to even have a chance to qualify.. what a shame... all the other schools above and below the oaks have much stronger strength of schedules and are favorites to win out.
