Athens would still be 4-1 with Logan's schedule. Maybe 3-2, Chilli would be a track meet

Hopefully North Korea doesn't nuke us before the clock strikes zero. Be in the after life and Logan fans will still have the streak

Re: WK6 (1-4) Logan @ (4-1) Athens
2 and 3 at the best. Even if The Plains get the V you are still way behind. And the future looks like a never catch up to the Chiefs.Raider6309 wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2017 5:27 pm Athens would still be 4-1 with Logan's schedule. Maybe 3-2, Chilli would be a track meet

I know. I want Athens to win 63-0 but it will probably be close most of the gameTRENCHFOOT wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2017 5:41 pmThe little fat kid Korean hasn't got anything to make it this far.Raider6309 wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2017 5:33 pm Hopefully North Korea doesn't nuke us before the clock strikes zero. Coming from Logan take the first exit, the state route 682 exit. Turn right. Go about a half mile and turn left on to Elm Street. It goes straight into the parking lot. I always park there since everyone uses Johnson road. Not a lot of people use that exit

Thanks for the info. Yep, that's the road me and a buddy ran into some trouble parked on some buildings lot. Never again. Cost us both over a hundred bucks a piece.

Actually Athens finally re paved the parking lots. The last time it was probably paved Athens beat Logan

Re: WK6 (1-4) Logan @ (4-1) Athens
Logan has done its part and much more to find a new league. Unfortunately, geography and other leagues being full are keeping them out of a league. I'm sure the FAC wouldn't mind having Logan as it needs two more members, but the geography isn't very good.loganlocos wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2017 8:16 ambman wrote: Wed Sep 27, 2017 11:28 pmNo one wants to move from the Buckeye to the Ohio Division to make room for Logan, so it's not happening at least in the immediate future. Logan would be a great addition to the league.
But BMan - the geniuses on here just tell me that if Logan just worked harder or asked nicely any league would just be thrilled to have us!
Re: WK6 (1-4) Logan @ (4-1) Athens
JT Barrett has set multiple Big Ten records so to say he "flat out sucks" is on the ridiculous side. JT is far from a perfect QB, but the bigger problem is with the wide receivers. If the Buckeyes go to Burrow or Haskins, they are basically writing out winning the Big Ten and competing for a national title.93Bulldog wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2017 8:35 amWhat is sad is its no joe's ability that is the cause of the situation - its the coach. Ive watched every snap of every game either on tv or at the shoe & JT flat out sucks. Burrow & or Haskins should be starting right now. So don't go throwing Burrow under the bus because we have a coach, who I truly like & respect, who is too stubborn for his own good.noreply66 wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2017 12:14 amYou know if you would stop trolling every Logan thread you wouldn't have to read what we say. Wonder if splitter butt will get to play this week or should I say Mr. future transfer![]()
Another Atown boy that didn't pan out. Just a high school pick for the Buckeyes that lost out. Maybe Hocking College will have a place for him.
Joe Burrow isn't starting because he isn't good. He isn't starting because OSU has an embarrassment of riches at QB. I like his chances to start next season, although he'll face some daunting competition. With the type of backs that OSU will have next year and Burrow's arm strength to get the ball down field and make those tight throws, OSU's offense should be awesome next season if they can progress at the wide receiver position.

Re: WK6 (1-4) Logan @ (4-1) Athens
The problem with Logan is its too big. Hand me the job of fixing it.
I'll take a page out of the Friday Night Lights series and split the schools with one bigger than the other. The Logan Chieftains and the Logan East Braves. I'll even renovate The Hilltop so they have a place to play.
The Chieftains, with a larger enrollment around 300, can join the TVC-Ohio as the 8th team.
The Braves, with an enrollment around 200, can join the Hocking and we'll boot South Gallia and Wahama to make it an 8 team league.
Bingo
Problem solved.

Heck, you might even be able to do it now using the same building.
Or do what Zanesville does. For those who do not know, community school kids do not count into the state count, but they can still play sports (crazy isn't it). So open a wing of the HS as a community school and you can drop to D3 or D4. You will not be the first to do it (Zanesville uses an old junior high.)

I fully understand the nature of the thought to split the school but I doubt Logan Hocking Schools would even consider such a split based on football only.

I don't think it would be a bad thing. you could split in district at 33. or somewhere close to it.
