Turnovers killing GA right now. Still a long way to go, down 14 getting the ball coming out of the half.

21-7 is not a thumping lol. Gallia had the ball down 7 and the QB underthrew an open WR and got picked off. That's the difference between 21-7 and 14-14 at the half.riverRat52 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 7:54 pm An absolute thumping so far, thought Gallia was supposed to be Irontons big competition

Bad management on that last drive! Went into halftime with a timeout in their pocket. Didn't use it with 20 seconds left. Could've had at least one mpre play. What happened?

Dragons executing better and out coaching GA through one half of football. Devils need to take better care of the ball and make the right adjustments on defense. Off tackle runs shouldn't be a guaranteed 4-6 yards a pop. Honestly with the success they're having on the ground, every pass Fairland throws is a gift to the Blue Devil defense.BlizzardMan wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 8:06 pm Bad management on that last drive! 'open' lol, he was surrounded by 3 defenders, not to mention there was a offensive hold on the play as well. We'll see how the second half goesMisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 8:05 pm21-7 is not a thumping lol. Gallia had the ball down 7 and the QB underthrew an open WR and got picked off. I'll say. That was complete mismanagement of the clock with timeouts.MisterGalliaGuy2016 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 8:12 pmDragons executing better and out coaching GA through one half of football. Re: Gallia academy v/s Fairland
Considering the fact Ironton drilled Fairland, I'd say GA will have a long night. Ironton obliterates the OVC as they exit the league.

Fairland rushing this half 1 att 9 yards
Fairland passing this half 3 att -2 yards 1 INT
Like I said. Every pass they throw is a gift to the GA defense with the way they're running the ball.
Touchdown GA, missed PAT. 21/20 Fairland still leading

OVC game of the year candidate brewing in Proctorville. Neither team has anything to be ashamed of by the end of this one.
