Gallia seems just to much in this game, as I thought all along. Portsmouth faithful, when was last time Portsmouth beat a team with winning record. curious as to when, I think I read it’s been quite a while, just keep working thou. Gallia will be in drivers seat in OVC after tonite.

Rock Hill was 6-4 in 2016 when we beat them 33-32 Before that it was a 7-3 Wilmington squad 14-7 in 2010

This is definitely one of the worst if not the worst 10 year stretch in the history of PHS football.

I think this is the year they get someone with a winning record. The score didn’t show it tonight. But this is the best Portsmouth team I have seen in a while. Not the scariest. But best. You will have some nights the receivers will catch some of those balls.

But this was the blue devils best game and most complete game of season.
Question for blue devil fans. Has Gallia went to that jumbo formation gave Campbell the ball and not converted the first down yet this year.

I think that has been huge for them and very demoralizing to other teams

Gallia couldn’t stop the run with 8 or 9 in the box and if they blitz both A gaps like they been doing the edge will be set and Parker will have a field day. The only thing that I’m worried about is the passing game of Gallia. That kid can kill ya in short passing then hit a long one. I also agree they need to get Lattimore more comfortable with short passing game. The kid has the talent but no confidence.
Here we go DADDY the Coach!
Daddy just put $500 on the Trojans.
I hope you didn’t really bet. We looked like garbage tonight.

I guess my only question for Portsmouth fans is. How can you stud running back average 5 yards a carry and only get 14 touches.

I thought they were only a play here or there from making this a game. But this Gallia team every week wears down teams snap after snap in that power run game. They had almost 40 more offensive snaps then Portsmouth

Portsmouth got dominated on the line on both sides of the ball. Gallia wore down the defense and on offense well play calling was horrible, as well as no blocking for Parker.

Nice win for Gallia . looking like a showdown between old rivals Ironton and Gallia for the title.

This game really fooled me. I thought the Trojans would be in trouble because of the pass. We hyped the run defense up I think. Because gallia straight ran it down Portsmouth’s throat and we could not stop it. That fake handoff to one and the other ran it killed us. Trojans need to figure a offense out. Parker will be each teams main focus. Down 28-7 and we still ran the ball? Have to throw at times. Are we not that comfortable in throwing we will just run? Down 20-0 and get the ball with 10 seconds left and take a knee. I guess I would of aired one out. alot if tough games left and still half a season. Shake it off and get ready for coal grove.
