Final 59 Trinity 56 Male
One turnover on the next to last play of the game.
Bush from Male under throws a long ball by 1/2 yard the ball is picked securing the win for Trinity.

This was the best highschool game I have ever seen or heard of. This game was all offense all the time. Watching this game you knew these 2 guys were going to be playing on Sundays.

Ughhh, that was so painful for me. Definitely a great game though. Schob and Humphreys were unstoppable that night.

Nelsonville York and Coal Grove in 1981.

NY and West Jefferson 1981 and 1982.

The 82 game was a heartbreaker. NY was driving, in the red zone, time was running out, down less than a TD and the pass in the endzone was

Intercepted. WJ won, crushed NY's dream of back to back State Championships and went on to win the State Championship themselves that year.

I think it was three maybe four years ago I was in Pikeville for the Pike County Bowl and my favorite team in Pike CountY(Pike Central) was going up against county rival, Shelby Valley. This was the first game of the year and it went to triple overtime with Central getting the win. I believe the score was,34-28.

It was fun to watch Schob and Humpherys going back forth, one through the air, the other on the ground.

The Burg vs. Portsmouth game in 04 (I think).

Burg had trouble moving the ball the whole game and Portsmouth had the ball and the lead late in the 4th and threw a pass from the Burg 10 which was intercepted and ran back to the Portsmouth 10. Burg again couldn't move the ball, but kicked a field goal for the win.

Burg playoff game vs. Fredericktown 07

Burg was down 28 at the half.....came back to tie the game in the 4th and lost in OT. Hearbreaking game, but the kids showed a ton of heart making the comeback in the 2nd half. Lots of kids would have just thrown in the towel after the horrible first half.
