All fans are invited to come out and watch. Admission is $5.00 for the entire day. Grilled 1/2 pound hamburgers, hot dogs and brats will be served all day long. Event tee shirts will be available for $10.00. Programs with the schedule, rules, brackets, etc. will be available at the gate. Fans/spectators at field 3 may want to bring something to sit on as the bleachers may not be able to be moved due to construction.

I can't figure out this bracket. Everyone plays in the first round, but then LOSERS play in the second round, then I'm not sure what happens in the third round. Where do the WINNERS of game 1 and game 2 play again? How are the participants of the Championship game determined? Do some teams get a bye after the first round?

Sorry, I just don't get it.

The first two "rounds" are all pool games. There are three teams in each pool and they play each other. Teams will then be placed into a bracket based on their finish in their respective pools.

The third "round" consists of all of the pool winners playing in either game 1 or 2; all of the 2nd place finishers will play in either game 3 or 4; and all 3rd place finishers will play in either game 5 or 6.

If you know any wrestlers or coaches who have participated in the John Deno Invitational at Athens HS, ask them how this works as this is basically how that tournament runs.

I would venture to guess that any monies raised will go towards the athletic facility therefore I would have no problem paying $5 to get in. But that is just me.

As a West fan, I came away from this feeling very good about about our chances this year. I think we had the best team there or at least the second best as we only lost to Groveport who won it by three. We made a couple mistakes and dropped a couple sure TD's. West has the best group of skill kids in numbers that I've ever seen at West, with one being Morgan the quarterback who was the best I saw today. If our line comes together, watch out region 19.

Rosecrans are pretty talented, but didn't look very big physically.
