Figured I would give an update on Curt's condition. He is slowly improving but not out of the woods by no means just yet. Doctor said that the next few days are very crucial and will tell alot. That is all I can say right now as I doubt his family wants many details let out. Please keep Curt and his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

For those of you who dont know Curt (brutus) let me tell you, he's one of the finest young men I have ever coached. At all times a leader who set the standards for the rest of the team to follow. Dragoncoach56 and myself coached him and several other Gallia County boys at Fairland Youth Football. I cant say I ever had a young man from up that way (Gallia Co.) that ever slacked or goofed off during practice or games. Curt, our prayers are with you. Mike and Karen, let me know if you need ANYTHING. Nothing I can give could ever repay you guys for allowing me to be a part of your kids (all 3 of them) lives. May God bless and watch over all of you during this time.

After the close to death experience I had with curt this summer. . . . Its crazy to find out about this the other day. . . .Curt is a great guy and I think luck will be on his side again

Have not received any new information. Sometimes no new is good news! I believe he is still in serious condition and progress is coming slow.

Please keep Curt and the family in your prayers, this is going to be a long slow battle.

Good news!!! Curt has opened his eyes for a few seconds a couple times the past couple of days. If you know him, you know that he will keep fighting until he beats his condition. He is still critical but stabilized. Keep praying for him.

He wasn't in a car wreck, that is all I will say. I want to respect the privacy of the family and I don't know how much they want out to the public. But I will give an update on his condition, he is now awake and waving to everyone and shaking hands with them. His condition is improving at a much quicker rate than the doctors expected.
