Looking back at the '98 Portsmouth Trojans

Post by Portsmouth98 »

I'll do this in a few parts to fill in the time between now and kickoff. Here's part 1.The '98 Trojans were coming off a winning season in 97 after four straight losing efforts. The team came in somewhat green after losing a very talented senior class including a few small college signees. Some notable names from the class of '97 included Tyler Hull, Curtis Parker, Aaron MacDonald, Joe Estep, Heath Glass and many others. Expectations still ran high though mainly to an equally talented group of seniors ready to make their mark on the grid in 1998 lead by returning All-State running back Akia Brown. This group faced the challenge of continuing the foundation of the class laid before them and help build Portsmouth back to it's glory days in football or fail and send the program back to the middle of the pack to claw it's way forward......

To Be continued

Yeah, everyone should do this, I can't be the only person with this much time on my hands.
