Football numbers for teams

Post by wemufans »

How many players does each team have out? Is it more or less than usual?

I've been told that South Gallia has between 30-35 players at two-a-days. That is about average for the school.

The Chillicothe Cavaliers has 68 from the Gazette write-up plus the 12 Freshmen which makes the CAVS having 80 players. :-D

Two-a-days? I can remember back in a day at R.H. we had 3 a-days. I will use a phrase that the coach would always use, "Bull Junk ". Does that bring back memories anyone?

Not Ohio but...

I believe Point Pleasant (WV) ended up with 42 kids 10-12 with 25 or more freshmen prepared to start next Monday.

I saw the Wasonga boys at the Gallia County fair last week, you can tell they have been in the weight room. I hope Point turns it around this year and has a strong season, they really deserve it.

From a source close to ND program ND has about 25 boys, and a revamped staff, may be a down year for the Titans.

All of our kids have worked hard in the off season and we are hoping for big things this season. Both Wasonga brothers are good football players but we still have a whole group of kids returning who are pretty good, especially that fullback (Tyler Grant).
