Concession Stands

Post by Blacksunshine »

What's the best or most unique thing you have purchased at a high school concession stand? And please give the location, I might want to go there.

Me personally, I liked the Bahama Mamas at Coal Grove.

I can not remember what I had at Amanda Clearcreedk but I think it was good. I do however remember buying a dozen krispie creme doughnuts when we left. Seemed like a great fundraiser, we just got in line and bought a dozen like everyone else.

It wasn't at the concession stand, but at South Gallia in the end zone they cook something different everytime I'm there. All they ask is for a donation. Beans and cornbread, chilli, hot wings ..... just depends on what Friday night you're there.

Taco in a bag . They take a snack size bag of fritos, open it and add taco meat and cheese. They give you a spoon to eat it with. I think we had them at Cols. DeSales.

Fried oreos at Wheelersburg baseball games. I didn't think I would like them but let's face it anything fried is good.

Waverly's tacos in a bag made my wife and I very ill last year, and we were'nt the only ones to complain about the food up there. As for Minford goes, you better enjoy a nice greasy slice of Giovannis pizza because the selection is limited.
