Sounds like Wests defense dominated Portsmouth and blitz all night long not giving Meyers time to do anything. I'm sure that with all the speed Burg has on D that they will something similar and keep Meyers on the run. That being said, this game never goes according to plan because of the intense rivalry and Portsmouth's perfectly capable of coming into Ed Miller Stadium and getting the win.

I look for a game similar to last years. A close contest that is decided in the 4th quarter and by turnovers. Hoepfully the Burg comes out on top this time.

If you had seen the Burg defense tonight you'd take Portsmouth. South Point must have had 25 first downs. This was the worst defense I've seen at Wheelersburg.

If our line doesnt show up,m this game could be as ugly as it was tonight for the Trojans.

I think South Point still may be better tghen people give them credit for, this was 2 toug games for them to open with, and now they have west next week :122246

Hopefully Curt will have that line ready next Friday, if not, it doesn't sound good. Still pulling for them though!

Thats for sure!
SP ran ALL over Burg!
If the line isnt there, Portsmouth could win this one!

I like Burgs OFF though to pull them out and DEF will make plays when back is against the wall!

No score prediction yet!
maybe later this week!

Portsmouth better improve a lot in a hurry if they are going to compete with Wheelersburg. The line play against West on both sides of the ball was very poor.......basically because the Senators dominated the line of scrimmage all night. Portsmouth has good skill players, but it takes sound blocking and tackling to win football games, and it wasn't there at West. Hopefully our kids will take that 34-0 whipping personally and come out with some fire next week.

GO TROJANS!!!

What is the deal with the years of 72-80 not having any playoffs apperances?

Played smaller schools. Not enough points to make it in.
