Most coaches don't post defensive stats anywhere for the public to see. If you can get coaches to submit them, I'd guess people will post them.

But the other problem is that every team keeps them differently. For example, is an assisted tackle a whole tackle or a half tackle? Is a sack a tackle for loss?

There is no standard for defense, so they are nearly impossible to compare from team to team.
