This will be the first Ironton/Portsmouth game I have missed in many years. I always look forward to this match up regardless of the records.

Portsmouth is very capable of winning this game if they play 4 quarters of good football like they did vs. Warren........anything less than that and they will not win.

Ironton is very good but beatable if the Trojans can play with a minimum of mistakes.........and hopefully force a few from the Fighting Tigers.

Obviously, stopping the run will be critical to beating IHS because if PHS doesn't do that the Fighting Tigers will chew up the clock and our offense will be standing on the sidelines.......I think it will be very important for Portsmouth to complete some passes downfield.......otherwise our ground game may have a rough go of it.

I agree, we did pretty well against Warren and Jackson by forcing them pass the ball. Ironton will be harder to stop but Clifford and Crew should know their playbook as well as they know our own by now.
