Marietta hasn't played anyone. Hard to forget Marietta has never won an ECOL game since joining

How do you think Marietta would fair against other teams in the SE? I think right now they may be ok time will tell.

The best move of the decade is that Waverly dropped Jackson from their schedule. Jackson would beat them up really bad and then their season was finished due to injuries. Waverly should not be ahead of Jackson.

Marietta hasn't won an ECOL game over New Philly, ZVille, or Dover is what you were looking for there Raider6309. How many teams in Southeast are gonna be able to compete with those 3 schools year in and year out??

You forgot Cambridge. Since 2011 0-20. Marietta is a lot like Meigs, they can't beat the better teams

Every year is a new year this year could have been the year that Waverly would beat them. Jackson is solid but not unbeatable. Waverly seems to be playing well beating teams they should beat.

Who knows though how they would match up this year. Jackson would come up to Washington and Washington would not score on them, or be able to score in our scrimmages with them. This year was totally different. All be it was a scrimmage but that was huge for our kids!

Each year different teams match ups change

I agree. I have not had the chance to see Waverly play this year but I hope to soon. They didn't lose too many players from last year's 5-5 team. Many years ago (and I mean many), Waverly and Jackson had some great games.

Just recently Waverly did have a rough stretch against Jackson. But those years the Tigers also didn't experience a winning season. I look for that to change this year.

Seven or eight years ago Waverly beat Jackson twice in one season. The second time knocking the Ironmen out of the playoffs. One heck of an OT game that was! Every year is different. If Waverly and Jackson played this year I think it would be a competitive contest.
