Great matchup. I see burg a slight favorite. The game could be anywhere from Chillicothe to Athens IMO.

If Ridgewood is the Run Heavy Team That I have heard, Burg Defense Should take care of Business!

Early for a score prediction but why not.
This one gets ugly thanks to Solid Burg D

Wheelersburg 42
Ridgewood 10

Have a great week of practice, stay focused and come prepared to play. Nothing is given. You still have to earn it and I'm certain you will. Congrats on your round 1 win and keep your sight on your ultimate goal.

If game were at Hamilton township, its 89 miles for both teams. same basically if at NYork, worse drive tho IMO.
Lancaster is in playoffs and if they win tonight, not sure if they would host a Friday night game since they will be playing the next night somewhere else?

Well played there a fee yrs ago against martins ferry. Nice stadium. Not much on parking. The church by the stadium charged for parking

i absolutely hate hamilton township. the facilitys are nice i just cant stand the drive an it seems like every time i go there to support a team we always lose. its probably not realistic , but doesnt waverly have a nice new facility. how about the ohsaa throw us southern ohio teams a bone once and awhile and let a northern team drive a little bit. plus being the #1 seed in the region carrying a little weight. if not wavely i will be happy with chillicothe. bait , you need to throw some weight around up there little in waverly and get this game at your place,

With the win from last night burg is only allowing 6 PPG and scoring roughly 41 PPG, the only team beating burg in this region is burg.

This game will get ugly! Ridgewood is a 90% run team.. burg's D will shut that down in a hurry!! I look for burg to win this one 42-0.

Waverly or chillicothe would be awesome sites! But that won't happen

I think Burg should have no problem with this game with how well overall their team is. I'm predicting a blowout. Waverly would be a great place for this game. Great field, good parking, good atmosphere.

As Ridgewood is near Coshocton, OH, the game will be played in Lancaster or Nelsonville.

I haven't seen Ridgewwod play this year but from what I remember a few years back, they were well coached. It's the second round, so every team at this point is here for a reason. I'm taking Burg by 14.

Defense is solid. Lights out. If Ridgewood wants to run the ball then they have to figure out a new way to do it.

Hey Burg fans... interesting side note for the kickers for both Wheelersburg and Ridgewood. Lewis from Burg and Claxon from Ridgewood have dads that both graduated from South Webster (Greg Lewis in 83 and Casey Claxon in 89) - where they don't have a football team :)

Here's some video of the scoring plays I shot from last night's Ridgewood game.

Looking forward to seeing old friends next week at the game.
