Oak Hill has the best passing game in the area, and the best running back in the area in Westen Hale. I have Oak Hill winning by 14.

Coal Grove 2009 ppg 38.6

Oak Hill 2009 ppg 38.9

It will be a close game, it will all be on which defense bends and which one breaks, both of these teams are going to score points, it will be which defense gets the most stops.

Coal Grove 2009 points allowed 18.7

Oak Hill 2009 points allowed 6.3

Defense will be key in this game,,,one more stat here

Coal Grove's combined schedule win percentage 42-58 .420

Oak Hill's combined schedule win percentage 44-56 .440

Everything is showing that this game will be a close one,,,,can't wait for Friday to get here.

Coal Grove gets past Oak Hill in a shootout. The Hornets offense will be to much for the Oaks in this one. I say Coal Grove wins this 28-21 on a touchdown late in the game.

If Coal Grove can run a three-man defensive line and get pressure on Sloan like they did against Fairland, it would be a big plus for the Hornets. The DBs will be outmatched size-wise.
I haven't seen Oak Hill play this year, but last year they struck me as more of a finess team. Sloan can throw a beautiful ball, though.

I think Coal Grove is the better team but I know Minford would sure love to play Oak Hill again and have a chance to redeem ourselves for that game.

Best Passing game Maybe?
Hale the best back UNT UH!! He is a nice running back, I can think of about 4 that are better.
Good luck Oaks!

I know the Hornets will bring the whole town to Davis Stadium; they always have great support. With the crowd that the Oaks will have, the atmosphere will be supercharged. It appears to be a really good match-up for the Oaks. We'll see whether the Hornets' pass defense can handle the Oaks' passing attack. Personally, I think the Oaks roll. We're strong up front, fast, and skilled. Perhaps, more than Coal Grove can handle. Hmmmmm....verrrrrrryyyyy interesting!

I will go another step further...if the Grove makes it past this week...I feel that they will win their region...

The only weakness Coal Grove has had this season has been their Defense...and it looks like they are starting to get it together there...If they play good D...it could be a long night for Oak Hill...

Get a win Sweat Bee's...the Tiger Fans are Rooting for Ya...

The defense always has been weak point of Lucas coached team. How many shoot outs and close games are lost because of weak defense. I go with Oak Hill in this game i belive they have to much fire power for the Grove.

Blue_nd_Gray, who do you think is better? Could it be your Mr. Glockner from Notre Dame? I think not. He's at least top 3 in this area, with the other 2 probably being Slone from Minford and Pendleton from West. You could even throw Dyla in there from Trimble.

Coal Grove has played the tougher schedule of the 2 teams by far IMO and that may be crucial in the final quarter of the game.

Well D is a pretty important part to football

I like the Oaks in this one

Oak Hill-21
Coal Grove-7

That is why I said...if they play good D...it could be a long night for Oak Hill...Coal Grove has the firepower...and the athletes to get it done on Defense...they just need to stay focused and do what needs to be done on defense...and they will win this one

Coal Grove...28...Oak Hill 20
