Wheelersburg was soft on defense. Said it all year but someone would post inflated stats from weak competition.
Wheelersburg was highly overrated as was Waverly.

Huh? Says cold water
I've watched coldwater many times just line up
And run over you.

I don't know if Burg has ever won a playoff game in Athens Co.

Anyway, Coshocton came out and smacked the Pirates in the mouth and every time W'burg started to come back, the Skins answered. Plain and simple, W'burg ran into a team who didn't do anything real fancy, they just executed better. Good luck to Coschoton against Coldwater.

I just went 85 yards straight thru the heart of the south- Ezekiel Elliott 1/1/15

Why didn't the Starting QB play in 2nd half. Thought it weird that the district off. player of the year didn't take a snap??? He looked fine on the sidelines.

Pretty amazing that Coshocton was able to dominate the LOS and TOP considering they only play about 20 players total and most all of their skill guys and lineman go both ways.

Burg falls a game shy of the final 4 and the haters come out of the wood work , they cant do this , they were weak against the run , got outclassed , got to schedule better , and all sorts of expert advice from the arm chair QB's on SEOP . Congrats Burg on a great great season. No shame in losing a regional final.

 Are you F-ing kidding me. No "Homer job" as some low class adults have to get on here and blame the refs. They are obviously ones that never played the game. Also they are the ones that had us playing Coldwater after week 1 vs Ironton.

No need for excuses. Plain and Simple, tonight, W'burg got beat by a team that executed and took better care of the football.
Good luck to Coshocton

That's right. Lots of teams would love to play in Week 13. Even better if you get to 14. Thanks again Burg for representing Southern Ohio.

MD,
Every one of the comments were in response to statements made by Wheelersburg fans leading up to this game. A regional runner-up is a great year but if you dish it out .... you have to be able to take it. I have not read anything that is out of line.

I am not hating on burg. Just wondering why the Starting Qb didn't play in the 2nd half?????? was her hurt or did they just think that #4 would do better. I know that Dyer was player of the year and seemed like Burgs best QB so maybe he got hurt.

Pretty similar

What is funny ?
Coshocton could've easily had 2 more TDs

Could've scored over 40 easily
It's funny because Coshocton couldn't stop burg. At all. Burg stopped burg. Everyone knew Coshocton could run. They played almost flawless. Two passes were completed and they were awful throws. Ironton not on burg level. Nice try.

If someone plays Wheelersburg close or beats them it's always Wheelersburg played bad, not the other team played well. Waverly got exposed in week 11, that should've been the eye opener.

Burg played bad in the 1st half. Coshocton played well on both halves. Story of the game.

They definitely did on offense. There were times burg could have gotten off the field but they've made the plays.
