1-1 Coal Grove @ 2-0 Lucasville Valley

Post by coop »

This looks like it's going to be a good one. The Grove gave Burg a run for thier money, and are going to be hungry this week. Valley has played somewhat "sloppy" if you will the last few games, so no better time to put it together than friday evening.

I think in the end, the Indians rush attack wears down CG, and Valley takes a win.

Valley 27
Coal Grove 21

It will be interesting. Valley has yet to look "energized" in a game, Coal Grove could be just the team that brings it out of em.

Coal Grove needs to step up and win this one. The playoffs start right now. This is a statement game. We hung with the Burg and showed we could go toe to toe with a school that expects to make the playoffs every year. Now it's time to beat a quality opponent. We have all the tools. The only thing holding Coal Grove back is Coal Grove. Let's get this done. Go Big Grove! I believe in this team.

This is a hard game to pick. Valley, so far, has picked up right where they left off last year, while Coal Grove has played 2 opponents who each will win their fair share of games this year. IMO, 2 evenly matched teams. Still, I will root for the SOC.

This is a chance to see where Valley really is this season. I think the grove will win by 2 or 3 scores they are a very good football team. JMO

Spamony picks valley to loose big every week. We are even the worse team Portsmouth plays this year according to him. I don't see us loosing at home. I say valley 27 cg 14.

The Grove has no chance, Valley is too strong, and too fast!!! And it's at Valley!!! I would say Valley will win by 3 touchdowns, or more!!!

Good Luck to Both Teams!!!

I will agree this game shows how Valley stacks up so far this year. I havent seen Valley this year but if the Valley posters are right about how good Valley is, they shouldnt have any real problems with this game.

Valley 28-20 Grove keeps it close but can't pull it out. Grove completes the year 8-2 and makes playoffs though

I tell you, I have Coached against, and watched this Jr. class, since they were in 3rd grade. They do nothing but win!!! Now they are getting their chance to play varsity, and they will keep winning!!! I am not saying that Valley will run away with this game, but I don't thank it will be as close as everybody thinks.
