If West struggled with Fairland's uptempo spread, they will struggle with Portsmouth on the turf. There is a new attitude at Portsmouth and I think they will this game by a score or two.

Portsmouth will be West by 4 touchdowns, there 4-4 defense with no NICKEL OR DIME package will get ate up by 3 and 4 WR sets! Linebackers guarding WR is not a good combo as you can see in the Week 1 score. Portsmouth 42-14

West rebounds with a win. Defense needs some work hopefully that will be taken care of this week, looks like they would utilize 56 more in the defense, I saw some hard hits what little bit he was in the game.

So, west gives up 41 at home to Fairland, but they are going to go to Portsmouth next week and slow down a more athletic Trojan squad? I don't see it. If Portsmouth gets helmets to the ball like they did against valley last night, West will be 0-2.

Portsmouth can pick the score West is well let's just say they are going to be everyone's bye week. Hard to say that because I am an OLD SCHOOL SIDER but I am a realist as well so maybe they can get 4 wins but I'm not sure where. Portsmouth will do to us what the Burg did to Ironton last night and it's over at the half.

If the West team that played in the second half against Fairland shows up it should be a good game otherwise it's gonna be another long night for West.

I find it hard to believe you are or ever was a SIDER with a comment like that. This game was a lot closer than the score indicated. The biggest differences was MISTAKES that are all fixable. Turnovers and penalties were the biggest differece in this game. You can't take points off the board ever in any game. We fix these miscues and we will be fine.

Don't believe so wipala. You weren't here to witness the new energy on the field. It's contagious.. The kids are getting after it flying to the ball on D. Receivers are blocking down field and the O line is sustaining each play..

The Valley fans noticed it. If it weren't for a dropped pass in the end zone by PHS's top receiver (I believe PHS was down 2 at the time) during the 4th qtr this game possibly could have gone the other way.

There is DEFINITELY a new energy in Portsmouth!! They were well coached and have A LOT of speed. I will take Portsmouth by two scores. Stay blessed and injury free fellas!
