This game should be good playoff points for athens but imho with ga scheduling rock hill who plays in a really bad ovc and portsmouth being so small already they would have to go almost undefeated this year to even get a playoff birth.

Anybody laid eyes on a roster for either of these two teams? Potential starting line ups? I'd like to see how they stack up size wise against each other.

I don't think gallia has to go undefeated or close to it to get a playoff birth. i think if they are 8-2 again this year i would give them about 75% chance to get in. The 3 opponents gone off gallia schedule from last year 2 were loses anyway. so lets say belfry replaced ironton. we lost to ironton anyway so a loss there doesn't hurt you. lets say rockhill replaces licking heights. you lost to licking heights so any points you got here is a bonus. The other game is fairland for chillicothie that had 4 wins. so as long as fairland wins 4 games that is a wash. so if you lose to athens. then you are down 9 wins. if rock hill wins 2 games. we would be down 7 wins. your other 6 opponents only one 14 games total last year combined i f they win a total of 21 games which would only be 3.5 wins a piece your playoff points would be very similar. that total would be good for 7 0r 8 seed. i think Portsmouth wins more then 1. i think Marietta wins more then 1, i think vinton county wins more then 1 and i think Logan wins more then 2 games.

now will they go anywhere in the playoffs if there 8-2 and lose the 2 tough games? probably not

Well, hate to see GA do all that work and lose the last game lol. Seriously though kvnchambers pretty good analysis. Logan and VC and Jackson for that matter all gonna have some better secondary points than 2012.
