Ironton - I think that in the past 15/16 years the best Tiger defenders are:

DB - Jason Harmon
DL - Michael Henry, Troy Sands
LB - Matt Kelly

Just my opinion...

Best Free Safety I ever witnessed was Jared Humphreys at Jackson. He could read and stop the option and play pass and was a fine QB to boot. Awesome football player in my opinion though and played baseball in college.

Trevon Pendelton was quite a LB at West!

Alf Bricker DB for West 2008. Never seen someone 6'3" tall that could cover anyone and come up and stop the run in the backfield. Great instincts for the game!

Ken might have made it but I heard he had to come home that week for his mothers funeral. Also heard he worked for the cowboys for a number of years.

Yep, I believe he would have made it, but came back in a critical time. I also heard he may still work for the Cowboys organization.

At one time I worked with Ken's Brother and Dad. The dad was one heck of a guy to know and the bother was a good person to sit and talk football with.
