1. Winner- Marion Franklin or Independence
2. Bellafontaine
3. Loser Marion Franklin or Independence.
4. Tri-Valley
5. Bishop Hartley
6. Granville
7. Jackson
8. New Philadelphia or DeSales.
Out
9. Athens
10. Dover
11. Beechcroft

Marion Flanklin and Independence play in 2 weeks. That will have MAJOR playoff implications.
DeSales I have a hard time seeing them finish 7-3 at best. Possibly 6-4. They have Edgewood, Bishop Hartley, Winston Woods, and Bishop Watterson. I can see them going 2-2 in that stretch and missing the playoffs.

But the last couple weeks of the season, each teams has some very tough games coming up and they will get tested by those teams. It could some things going on the next few weeks.

That Granville win over licking heights was big. I was hoping the Aces wouldn't be one of the 8, opening the door for someone else ... but they are almost a lock now given their remaining schedule.

Hartley is my Favorite for this region. Don't get me wrong. I would love to see Jackson run through it, but let's be honest. This region is stacked. There should be some really great games played in this region. You may have the State Champ somewhere in the mix.

Yeah Athens and Jackson don't really have anything for that region. I'm still going DeSales wins the region

Jackson has to beat Chillicothe or they won't make it. Athens at 9-1 will be at 21. Even at 21 it could be possible Athens doesn't make it. Crazy to think 21 points might not be enough

I am not sure we get any local team in the top 8, Athens and Jackson have to win Week 10. Not sure that happens.

NY seems to be on a roll and I think they beat Athens.

Jackson is very one dimensional and looks like Chilly may have the upper hand in that one.

Tough Region for sure and it is crazy to think DeSales may be on the bubble. Their schedule is absolutely ridiculous.

DeSales still has Hartley and Winton Woods. It appears they need one of those, and it probably not gonna be Winton Woods. WW just beat a team in Indiana by 1, same team that DeSales lost to by 35 or so. Looks like they need to beat Hartley, and if they do will need to beat them again in the play-offs.

Very difficult to crack the 1-8 spots without a lot of secondary points help.

Jackson and Athens both have to win wk 10 to be in the playoffs, but I don't think Athens has enough still to get in at 9-1.
Jackson on the other hand with a win, would be around 5 or 6 most likely.
This region is very tough. And your right, DeSales is on the bubble, may be on this year. Which would everyone in the region would be thrilled.

Be like 2013. Desales beat the D4 state champ but didn't make the playoffs

But Independence could drop two games and go 8-2. That would be at 20 points. New Philadelphia could lose to Dover week 10. They both could be out. Bishop Hartley could beat Desales. So three of Drew's top 8 could be sitting at home and Athens and Jackson would get in.
