WK8 - Dublin Scioto (3-4) at Logan (2-5)

Post by loganlocos »

Homecoming at The Chief.

Logan picked up their second victory, coming from 28 points down to beat Minford 48-42 in double overtime.

Scioto knocked off arch-rival Worthington Kilbourne in the Battle for Hard Road 34-21.

Scioto lost to Jerome 21-17 back in week 4 in the one common opponent. Logan lost to Jerome 41-7 in week one.

Logan finished its "Dublin Double", having opened the season with Jerome. Logan played Dublin Coffman back in the 2001 DI playoffs (a 20-14 loss). After Friday Logan will have played all three Dublin schools. Logan is currently 1-3 all-time against Dublin high schools.

I know Scioto had a bunch of injuries early in the year. They snuck into the playoffs last year and went up to Massillon to upset the Tigers 31-21 before losing to New Albany.

Who else was Logan supposed to schedule? News flash, smart guy - 90% of football teams have a league game this week.

Heck, Logan still hasn't filled this week for next year. Why don't you go find an opponent for Logan?

Says the guy whose school is going to go 8-2 and miss the playoffs

And whose school would have missed the playoffs at 8-2 last year (even if they had beat Logan)

Yeah, scheduling expert.

Athens is in one of the best regions in ohio any division. Logan's region sucks. In the worst case the cut off could be 22. 9-1 Jackson would be sitting at home. Unlike you delusional Logan fans, I don't think we are good enough this year to be a playoff team

No one in Logan predicted a playoff team.

Again - who SHOULD Logan have scheduled in week 8 of 2017?

From what I read, you just talk and talk, and try to prove your points, even when you have no point.

If we schedule and win you always say it is a schedule down. You will never see The Plains play a team compared to any Dublin team. Because they stay in a very good under division league. In a bigger division league they ran and never will look for a league their own size. Their non-league should be Chillicothe, Jackson, Logan and Canal.

They won't do that. They'd be 6-4 or 5-5 every year lol

What is the AD supposed to do, I mean seriously does he have that many options. Logan is in a bind. My guess the non-league situation may be the cause for some kids not playing which then leads to poorer results which leads to coaching turnover which leads to a lot of other bad things. Not an enviable situation.
