Don't worry NY. Athens will beat on Parkersburg South the next couple years. Points for Groundbuck

Sorry I'm new to ohio football. Grew up in West Virginia and generally school size didn't matter as much with only 3 classes.

Bridgeport or Nitro would both be good opponents for NY, I think.

Regarding WV and school size: I believe that WV is different from Ohio how they do size classifications. In Ohio, you have separate size classifications for boys and girls (e.g. the boys basketball team participates in D3, the girls basketball team participates in D4.) In WV, if I'm correct, it's based off total enrollment and not broken down by gender (e.g. if boys basketball is A, then so is girls.)

Fairland and Meigs would be a good series to start, I know they used to schedule each other. And we’d all love to see Burg get Massie or Canal
This is the last year that Burg and Fairland are playing unless they meet n the playoffs

Thanks got it. Nitro is awful at football Bridgeport was good but not so much now.
Mingo central would be dream matchup then They are defending state champs and look to be on path to deep playoff run again. They have 750ish.

St Mary's actually is nearly even in enrollment to NY. That would be more equal in numbers.

I think the Bucks will stick with in State opponents. No need to go across the river to find games.

Steubenville is always looking for games, but warn your AD that home and home is translated as Harding and Harding over there. Usually. Sometimes it's Harding and canceled.

Ironton could pick up Watterson. Both schools need to soften their schedules.

Here’s a question for you V. What is going on with Watterson? How have they dropped off so much in the last 5 or so years?

Steubenville should call Belfry, Kentucky.

They would be smart though and make sure they got a home and home.
