Cunningham will have a field day with the Panthers. I also think Wilcoxen has a great game. Go Dragons

As much as I’d like to see Chesapeake win this one, I think the Dragins will win pretty easily.

Last game of the season, Sr. night, rivalry game all lead to two fired up teams battling for bragging rights. Fairland is the better team but not by a lot. I'll take the Dragons 42-35. As for the stadium, no upgrades are planned and it is played on a real surface that football is supposed to be played on. DIRT! lol!

It is my understanding that Chesapeake still has several key injuries affecting them. Hate to hear that some of those seniors will miss their final game of their senior season. However, I believe this will swing things more in favor of the Dragons. That being said...not sad about it. BTP!!!!

Fairland 46-28.
Cunningham broke the 1500 yard mark in the 3rd quarter. Not real sure what he finished the season with.

Fairlands 17 year record against the Peake is 5-12 and tonight showed that they don’t know how to win. Let’s go for 2 up 18 with 23 seconds left and heck we might as well onside kick it. On top of 4 personal fouls for the Dragons. Clearly they don’t know how to win with class. Melvin Cunningham is a joke, fairland has so much talent and imo should have only 1-2 losses on the year. All he wants to do is give it to his son. There is no scheme Fairland runs there isn’t much miss direction, there was no deep passing attack. This Chespeake team has so many injuries and lack of varsity experience or football experience in general, to be losing to them at half 7-6 and to only be up by 10 with 1min left isnt a big win. I know winning a rivalry game is big especially when they come few and far between but if I were a Dragon I wouldn’t be happy with the coaching. Take Fletcher and Burcham away and play the later part of the season with a banged up Browning that makes this Panther team not nearly as athletic or talented as any Peake team I have seen in a while. But heck of a job to them and their coaching staff maneuvering their playbook to at least give them a shot. Oh and btw OVC Championship? Playoff Birth? NOPE and NOPE

Anytime Fairyland can get a win over The Peake it is a big win for them. Maybe someday they will learn to win with class. Not as long as Cunningham and his band of thugs are there, but someday.

How about an opinion from someone who's team whipped the Dragons. Fairland shart the bed when it mattered. Better luck next year Melvin. Have fun collecting your players equipment on Monday.

Omaha I’m not salty I knew this L was coming all week! I am happy with how the Panthers game planned and how hard they played but everyone in Lawrence County knows the difference in talent level is this year. Fairland has a lot of talent and for it to be that close and for them to be out played for a half isn’t a good reflection on this coaching staff. Also I’ve seen Peake beat Fairland by 15+ and NEVER go for 2 or inside kick. Sorry that I have an opinion! Good Luck in the Playoffs!!! Hahahaha

Who do both teams bring back?

If the Cunningham boy is graduating then I don’t see coach lasting past next year. If what I’ve read is true of what happened last night, Fairland should be embarrassed
