Jackson will still rely on that big offensive line that has power the Ironmen rushing game to over 3,000 yards this season. Will get a lot of touches and experience for the younger backs. The defense (mostly underclassmen) will get some good reps and experience in a tough environment . Will be an uphill battle for sure but I've never known a Jackson football team to not play hard.

The 2004 game against Withrow was the best high shoold football game I think I've ever seen. Dante Love needed some love when that one was over.

It will take nothing short of a miracle for Jackson to pull off an upset in round #1 of the playoffs. Hey wait, Is that Al Michaels I hear warming up his vocal chords? Good luck Ironmen!

After looking at Independence highlights, I think Jackson wins by 17 plus. Jackson's defense is designed to stop running offenses. Jackson advances.

the winthrow game was definitely one for the history books.......then QB Jarod Humphries was a surgeon that night running the mid-line option.......

Sorry after seeing Independence against Johnstown, 76ers will bring it for 4 quarters. Marion Franklin is the real deal and to beat them says a lot. I have 76ers by 2 tds

Play your guts out for 4 quarters without looking up and see where you are at the end of the game. Tough match-up but I wouldn't rule us out from competing in this one. Go Red!

Looks like a quality 1st half, guessing war of attrition caught up with Jackson in the 2nd half. Once again just not a team that can come back from multiple scores down. Congrats on a great season and good luck to McCoy on his recovery tough way to go out.

Jackson played very well tonight. 6-0 game midway through the 3rd, and then an Independence fake punt sprung Taylor for a TD to make it 12-0. Jackson fought back, but another drive stalled in the red zone, and it was pretty much over after that.

Very proud of Jackson's team for playing hard, despite all the injuries. Matt Humphreys went out after the second series of the game with a knee injury and was on crutches, so hopefully he has a quick recovery. Just a terrible string of injuries for this team. However, they showed a lot of heart and should keep their heads up. I really would have liked to have seen what a healthy team could have done these last two weeks, but that's football.

Another solid 8 win season for Jackson Football. Good luck to all the seniors!

Thanos, my friend, it seems you're not very good at this prognosticating thing ;) But the Ironmen did play with a lot of heart - very impressed.
