We knew they’d be good at 7 on 7 they are super deep at skill spots. Just have to see how the line gels together.

Looking forward to watching Fort in person week one.

Looks like battle for the PVC and maybe top spot in the region, will be week 9. Jesse is talking regional championship at least, so we shall see!

So, outside of The Zeps, which matchup are the most intriguing for 2018?

Fort Frye's senior-laden line got stonewalled at home by Northridge last year. Now, they go to Johnstown against a football program that seems to be rising.

Boys were not ready for that game. Not making excuse but last years preview was canceled and Tate only had the Belpre game of live action vs another team. They play week 8 Fort wins by 14 plus. That being said Northridge had a new coach last year a guy that used to Rosecrans to some deep playoff runs. They went 6-4 and beat Newark Catholic for first time in 20 some years. I’m sure it will be one of the tougher games.

Also Waterford returns a top from its 2017 team that almost beat us.

The boys managed to roll up plenty of points in weeks 1 and 3. You are making excuses.

I don't have any idea what The Vikings graduated, but that was a stout defense. Our boys didn't see a front 7 like that again until week 12.

For 1 Belpre was really bad and they even scored 21 points on us. Fort Frye was extremely young and was a different team come week 8-9-10. You were at most of the games you should know that. If they played Northridge again with last years team Fort probably would of won.

"Could have" from a year ago doesn't interest me. You said on Waterford's thread that you expect them to fall back a little. Northridge has been the tougher matchup for 3 years.

Well yea it will be one of the tougher games I wasn’t arguing that.

From watching numerous teams throughout the season, Fort Frye was one of the top 2nd half teams around

@ Steubenville Central
After Shenandoah, Waterford, and Northridge, what's the fourth most interesting game?
New coaches at Belpre and Monroe Central?
Steubenville Central looking for revenge?

Probably SCC but they did lose a ton all state Tackle , both RBs one is at West Lib and the other transfered to Dublin Coffman. They do return the QB Hartzell but does he have any weapons left?
