2006. Hilliard Davidson was State Champs! Brian White graduate of '86 from Wheelersburg HS led them to their first of 2.

Both D1 finalists from last year were knocked out (St X and St Ignatius)

3 time defending D2 champ was knocked out (Lasalle) on a last second FG by Winton Woods

2 time Defending D4 champ Bishop Hartley (in D3 this year) was knocked out by Tri-Valley.
Tri Valley went 9-1 last year and was the only 9-1 team not to qualify (9th in Region 7)

D5 finalist (8 times in a row finalists) Coldwater was kicked to the curb by Marion Local in Region 23 finals.
