I WENT TO ALL THE FINALS FOR DECADES AND GAVE IT UP ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO BUT THIS IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME BEST EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T SEE IT IN PERSON. OVERTIME WAS FITTING FOR THIS GAME AND BOTH DEFENSES WERE LIGHTS OUT. THE JUMP PASS ON 4TH AND 1 WAS HUGE FOR A TD BY THE LINEBACKER/FULLBACK. THAT'S SOMETHING NO DEFENSE IS EXPECTING, GREAT CALL . CONGRATS TO BURG AND SEO.

WOW WHAT A BALLGAME !!!!! WHEELERSBURG JUST WON THE D5 STATE FOOTBALL TITLE GAME. AS 2 PERFECT 14-0 TEAMS DID BATTLE IN A SMASHMOUTH DEFENSIVE BATTLE. I WAS WORRIED AS BURG'S QB WAS LIMPING IN THE 3RD AND 4TH QUARTERS, TAKING HIS MOBILITY AWAY. BUT BURG PULLED BACK , FORCED OVERTIME AND WON. THIS WAS A SMASHMOUTH GAME, CONGRATULTIONS TO THE WHEELERSBURG PIRATES, AND THE EASTWOOD EAGLES PLAYED AN AMAZING GAME IN A LOSING EFFORT.

From a well worn highschool football fanatic I've seen many games and this one was a top ten for sure!!! After the way those two defenses dominated, and I can't emphasize DOMINATED ENOUGH, to see the ,,Pirates drive that ball down and score with nearly no time left in regulation was a thing of beauty!!!!!! And then the ending was classic. Congrats to The Burg and well played to Eastwood!!! Enjoy all you Burg posters enjoy!!!!

I really feel sorry for the people that didn't get to watch this! OMG what truly amazing game this was! I thought no way can Burg score a touchdown with that much time left. Then the jump pass to end it, who would have thought it was coming? Definitely not Eastwood! What I liked most was it was low scoring hard hitting game where scores came at a premium. I get so sick of watching games where offenses just run up and down the field unabated. Congrats Burg on probably the best game in championship history!
